Men's Golf Places Sixth at General Hackler Championship

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. - The NC State men's golf team ended the third and final round at the General Hackler Invitational in sixth place. The Wolfpack shot a 21-over (309) in the final round to finish the tournament at 42-over (906). East Tennessee State won the tournament with a 19-over (883).
Sophomore Mark McMillen was the Pack's top individual performer. He shot a six-over (78) to finish the tournament at seven-over (223) and a tie for 13th place. McMillen made five birdies during his final round.
Freshman Mitchell Sutton was only one stroke back, after shooting a four-over (76) in his last round. Sutton's eight-over (224) over the three days was good enough to be tied for 15th place. He made two birdies in his final round.
Junior Matt Hill shot a six-over (78) to end the 54-hole tournament at 12-over (228). Hill ended the round with his lone birdie, which put him into a tie for 27th place.
Senior Adam Hogue finished the third round with a five-over (77) to end the three-round tournament at 15-over (231). Hogue made two birdies during the last round and finished in a tie for 35th place.
Senior Brad Revell closed out the tournament at 23-over (239), after shooting an 11-over (83) in his last round. Revel finished tied for 57th.
