RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State will again sponsor Military Appreciation Day at Saturday's 6 p.m. football game against Murray State, with a variety of activities prior to and during the game.

The school, in conjunction with the Wolfpack Club, is also encouraging fans to bring items for the Back Home Box Foundation, a Triangle-based organization that has sent more than 2,500 packages overseas to active troops.

A list of suggested items to contribute at the four collection areas is attached above.

Festivities begin with the Walk of Champions, just outside the Murphy Center, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Fans are also asked join the NC State Marching Band and cheerleaders in welcoming a group from the Wounded Warrior Project from Camp Lejeune, who will be arriving at the North Entrance of Carter-Finley Stadium at 5 p.m.

At Fanzone between Carter-Finley Stadium, several military-themed exhibits will be on display prior to the game.

On the field, the Black Daggers, the U.S. Army Special Operations parachute demonstration team, will deliver the game ball.

At halftime, the NC State Marching Band will perform a patriotic show that will include a field-size American flag sponsored by Coca Cola and University Dining.
