RALEIGH, N.C. – The second-annual Kay Yow Spring Football Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2010.
Kickoff at Carter-Finley Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. for the long-standing intrasquad contest, which was renamed last year in honor of NC State's late Hall of Fame women's basketball coach.
All adults attending the game are again asked to make a minimum of $1 cash donation as they enter the stadium. At last year's inaugural event, nearly $30,000 was collected and distributed to charities, including the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund that was set up through the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
The fourth-annual NC State football alumni weekend will also take place during that weekend, with all former Wolfpack players invited to attend practice Friday afternoon, a VIP reception at Vaughn Towers Friday evening and Saturday's football game.
Former players who have not previously attended can fill out the attached questionnaire to be updated on details for this year's event.
