GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State sophomore forward Bonae Holston was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference honorable mention team Monday by commissioner John Swofford.
A year removed from earning the league's Sixth Player of the Year award and a spot on the ACC All-Freshman team, Holston leads NC State in both scoring and rebounding with 11.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this season. Both those figures rank 16th in the ACC.
She is one of only 10 players in the conference to rank in the top-20 in both scoring and rebounding.
She has scored in double figures 18 times this season, including five games with 20 or more points. The Newport News, Va., native also notched three doubles.
Sixth-seeded NC State (17-12, 7-7 ACC) will take on 11th-seed Clemson on Thursday in the first round of the ACC Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m., in Greensboro, N.C.
