Women's Golf Finishes 15th at NCAA Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The NC State women’s golf team finished in 15th place at the NCAA Central Regional at the Scarlet Course at Ohio State University.

The Wolfpack finished the three-day, 54-hole event with a team score of +90 (312-307-335=954).

Junior Emily Street was the top finisher for the Wolfpack – placing tied for 46th at +18 (78-75-81=234).

Freshman Meghan Chapman tied for 57th at +21 (76-76-85=237).

Senior Lauren Doughtie finished her collegiate career by tying for 84th at +28 (77-82-85=244).

Junior Kathleen Strandberg tied for 87th at +29 (81-79-85=245).

Sophomore Julie Saleeby tied for 89th at +30 (85-77-84=246).

UCLA won the team title at (+13, 877), while fellow ACC member Wake Forest finished third at +35 (899).

UCLA’s Maria Jose Uribe won the individual title at –4 (212).
