GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lawanda Henry was 10th in the hammer throw with a 169'11" at the NCAA Outdoor Regional Championships on Friday afternoon. Henry will wait to see if her mark is good enough to advance her to the NCAA Championships in the event. Henry will compete in her best event on Saturday, the shot put.

To qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, an athlete has to finish in the top-5 to make it automatically, and need to finish in top 12 to be in pool to make it to NCAAs based off of the mark.

Other athletes in action were Brittany McCain in the discus (17th) for the women and Jason Jones for the men in the shot put (19th).
