GREENSBORO, N.C. - Shot put school record holder Lawanda Henry advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships after finishing third at the NCAA Outdoor Regionals in the shot put.
Henry's mark of 52'08.75" was the second-best of the season for the redshirt freshman who holds four school records already in her young career.
Angelina Blackmon was ninth in the 800m and will look to qualify to the NCAA Championships when selections are finalized on Monday.
Mattie Bethea was 11th in the high jump and will also wait until Monday to determine her fate, as well.
Athletes must finish at regionals in the top-5 to qualify automatically or the top-12 to see if their mark qualifies when selections are finalized.
