RALEIGH, N.C. – The practice tee at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course opened to the public on Tuesday and will now have regular hours every day.
On weekdays, the practice tee will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. On weekends, it will be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The course will open nine holes by this weekend for its Charter Partners only (no guests). The full 18 holes will be open for Charter Partners only in early July. The course will open to the public by mid-July, according to general manager Chip Watson of Carolinas Golf Group.
The course, designed by Arnold Palmer Design Group, has three PGA teaching professionals: head pro Rob Yanovitch and assistants Jeremy Whitehurst and Nick Dillman. They offer lessons for all ages and skill levels for $60 per 45-minute lesson.
