NC State jump specialist DeMiracle Washington advanced to the NCAA Championships with a fifth place finish at the NCAA Regional in Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday. Washington jumped a 19'11.50", her third longest mark of the season.
Washington, who is making her first trip to the NCAA Championships with her strong performance in the long jump, will also compete in the triple jump on Saturday at the regional championships.
