Baseball To Play Two On Saturday

RALEIGH,
N.C. – NC State and Appalachian State will open
the 2008 college baseball season with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at
noon. The second game of the doubleheader will begin 45 minutes following the
conclusion of the opener.
The doubleheader was made necessary when Friday’s scheduled
season opener was canceled on Thursday due to the threat of cold and rain. Sunday’s
series finale will be played as scheduled, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
