In 2007:  The Wolfpack's starting quarterback to open and close the season, he lost his spot for four games and then started the last seven ... Underwent shoulder surgery in December and may missed all of spring workouts ... Passed for 2,030 yards in 2007, the 14th-best single-season mark in school history ... His 194 completions rank seventh, while his 339 attempts ties for seventh ... Completed .572 of his passes as a junior, the 12th-best mark ever for a Wolfpack QB in a season - his .553 career mark ranks ninth ... Threw for a then-career high 335 yards on a 29-44 passing performance in the win at East Carolina, he also threw three TD passes to tie his career high ... Broke that yardage mark with 347 yards against Virginia and again threw three TDs, that yardage total was the 20th-best in NC State history ... The ECU performance marked  the most completions and the most passing yards in a single game by an NC State quarterback since Philip Rivers against Kansas in the 2003 Tangerine Bowl ... Scored his first career rushing touchdown in the overtime win at Miami... His career efficiency mark of 107.39 ranks 15th in school history ... Has thrown 17 touchdown passes for his career, that mark is tied for 12th in school history ... Passed his father, Johnny, in career completions versus Clemson - he now ranks fifth in school history with 357, fifth in attempts with 646 and seventh in yards with 3,873 ... Came off the bench late in the fourth quarter and led the Wolfpack down the field on a six play, 80-yard scoring drive at Boston College ... Graduated with a degree in business in December, he is enrolled in graduate courses.

In 2006:  Posted the 15th-best single season passing total in school history with 1,843 yards, even though he was the starter in just nine of the 12 games ... His 163 completions ranked 13th on the single season list, 15th on the career chart ... Attempted 307 passes in 2006, the 11th-best mark in school history ... Started the last nine games of the season, his first start, against Boston College, was his most dramatic ... Drove the team down the field, 72 yards in just five plays, for the winning touchdown - a 34-yard throw to John Dunlap with just eight seconds remaining in the game ... Ranked eighth in the ACC with 153.6 passing yards per game ...  Averaged 192.9 yards of total offense against league competition, the third-best mark in the ACC ... Also held on placekicks ... Threw for a season-high 270 yards against Georgia Tech, his 53 attempts in that contests ranked seventh in school history ... Threw for three touchdowns in the win over Florida State.

Prep:  Completed 272 of 473 passes for 3,796 yards and 37 TDs as a senior, including five games with over 300 passing yards ... Led Broughton High to an 11-2 record in 2003 and its second straight conference championship ... Also rushed for 301 yards with five scores in his senior season ... 2003 CAP 6 Conference Player of the Year ... Second-team all-state and three-time all-conference selection ... Chosen to the 2003 East/West All-Star Game ... Ranks second in state history with 757 career completions and 1,330 attempts ... Third in state history with 9,899 passing yards and 104 touchdowns ... Punted 47 times for an average of 38.3 yards, with 12 inside the 20-yard line ... Team went 29-9 and won two conference championships in his three years ... Dad, Johnny, played quarterback and was an All-American punter at NC State from 1974-77, he currently provides color analysis for the Wolfpack Radio Network ...
