In 2008:  Most experienced player on the Wolfpack squad, he has seen action in 1,667 snaps ... Started 12 of the Pack's 13 games at defensive end, he now ranks 11th in school history with 31.5 career tackles for loss ... His 12.5 career sacks ties as the 15th-best mark in school history ... Tallied 26 quarterback pressures for the season to lead the team, he has 65 for his career ... Also led the team in tackles for loss (12.5) and sacks (6.5) ... Tallied five tackles, including three for loss and two sacks, and intercepted a pass in the win over North Carolina ... A 2009 preseason second-team All-ACC choice according to Athlon Sports and Phil Steele's College Football Preview.


In 2007: 
Starting defensive end in the last eight games of the year, he played in all 12 contests ... Tallied 16 tackles for loss for the season, that tied as the seventh-best mark in school history ... That mark tied as the second-best ever by a Wolfpack sophomore and was one more than #1 NFL draft pick Mario Williams had during his sophomore campaign ... Pressured the opponent quarterback 24 times for the year, including an incredible eight times against North Carolina ... Broke up six passes for the season, the third-highest mark on the team.  


In 2006: 
Saw action in all 12 games, he started five contests, including the last four of the season ... Led the team in quarterback pressures with 15 - more than double any other Wolfpack player ... Pressured the QB four times against Akron, three against Florida State ... Led the team with eight tackles against East Carolina.


In 2005:  Redshirted the 2005 campaign at defensive end ... Originally signed with the Pack in 2004, he attended prep school in the fall and enrolled at NC State in January of 2005, going through spring drills with the team ... Earned the 'second effort' award for the defense following 2006 spring drills.


Prep:  Finished with 65 tackles, including 25 for loss, and had 12 sacks as a senior … Made 60 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, nine sacks as a junior … A first-team 6-A all-state selection on the defensive line … Averaged 10 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior basketball player … Joined the track team midway through the season, but tied for fourth at the state 4-A meet in the high jump ... Earned his degree in science and technology ... Born 9/19/85.
