NC State Ranks 41st in Latest Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings

Raleigh, N.C. - After the conclusion of all the fall sports, NC State currently sits in 41st place in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Final Fall Standings. The men's cross country team was NC State's top performing team in the fall, as they scored 48 points after placing 26th at the NCAA Championship. The women's cross country squad was close behind with 29 points after taking third at the NCAA Regionals. Women's volleyball earned 25 points thanks to its first NCAA Tournament birth since 1987. The Pack finished the season 22-10, including a 12-8 mark in ACC play, a school record for wins in the conference. The Pack football team also earned 25 points, finishing with a record of 7-6 and a third straight bowl appearance. For the complete list, click here. |
