The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade-point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference acknowledged a record 2,835 student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom during the 2010-11 academic year.
NC State's ACC Honor Roll honorees included student-athletes from all sports. Among those honored were :
Brittany Tinsley, track and field
Tinsley is the only six-time 2011 ACC Honor Roll selection in the entire conference. She is a former All-ACC performer in both cross country and track and field, and was an All-NCAA Regional performer in cross country.
Audie Cole, football
A two-year starter at linebacker for the Wolfpack, Cole led or tied for the team lead in tackles each of the last two seasons. Cole is on the watch lists for the 2011 Butkus Award and the 2011 Lombardi Award.
Jess Panza, gymnastics
Panza won the H.C. Kennett Award as NC State's top female student-athlete for the 2010-11 school year. She was a 2011 All-EAGL performer on floor, bars and beam, and earned first-team all-tournament honors for vault, bars, floor, beam and all-around at the 2011 EAGL Championships. She won the EAGL Academic Award for excellence in the classroom.

Akinniyi recently signed a free-agent contract with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.
