NC State Invites Fans to Packapalooza

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State invites fans to be a part of its second-annual Packapalooza, which will be held August 24 from 2-10 p.m., on Hillsborough Street.
The event, which showcases various facets of the university and includes interactive events and activities for participants of all ages, will be presented by Live It Up! Hillsborough Street.
The NC State athletics department will occupy a prominent spot at the festivities, with several varsity teams and coaches on hand to sign autographs and meet with celebrants throughout the day. Fans may also stop by the Wolfpack Zone to pick up posters, schedule cards and ticket information, as well as to enter for a chance to win football tickets. The Wolfpack Zone will be located at the Belltower end of Hillsborough Street, in front of North Hall.
During the five o'clock hour, athletics will take over the Belltower stage, with highlight videos and appearances from head coaches. There will also be a musical performance by Scotty McCreery, Chancellor Randy Woodson, and Head Football Coach Dave Doeren, as well as a special recognition of the baseball team for their College World Series run.
Additional highlights of the day include an autograph session with members of the '83 National Championship team at 3:00 p.m in the Wolfpack Zone and an appearance by Tuffy, NC State's live mascot, at the Belltower stage at 3:15 p.m.
Throughout the day, several teams will be on hand in the Wolfpack Zone to sign autographs. Below is a list of specific times teams will be available:
