A native of Scranton, N.C., Jodie Cahoon is in his fourth season as the director of equipment for the Wolfpack baseball and men's and women's tennis programs.
With an office at Doak Field at Dail Park, Cahoon's responsibilities include ordering and maintaining all equipment for the baseball and tennis programs. He also maintains the clubhouse and locker room at Doak Field at Dail Park.
Cahoon returned to his alma mater after holding similar positions in minor league baseball for three years. He spent 2003-04 as the visiting clubhouse manager for the AA Carolina Mudcats before working as the clubhouse/equipment manager for the AAA Richmond Braves.
Cahoon's career in equipment management began during his undergraduate studies at NC State, where he worked with the football team as a student manager for four years under legendary equipment manager Eddie Gardner.
A 2004 graduate of NC State, Cahoon holds a B.A. in parks, recreation and tourism with a minor in coaching. He resides in Raleigh.
