Diane Britt Moose joined NC State Athletics in April 2000. As Senior Associate Athletic Director/CFO, her responsibilities include developing, managing and monitoring the Athletic Department budget; overseeing the various functions of the Business Operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budget Variance Reporting, Information Technology, etc.
In addition, Moose serves on the University Administrative Process Review Committee, the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Committee, Liaison to the Wolfpack Club Finance Committee and is a member of the Athletic Department Senior Staff, Budget Committee and Cabinet.
Prior to joining NC State Athletics, she spent three years as the Assistant Budget Director for the NC State University budget with responsibilities that included budget management, capital spending, legislative requests and reporting to various campus constituencies. Moose spent 15 years in private industry working for Occidental Life Insurance and PennCorp, Inc. as Assistant Vice President responsible for Accounts Payable, Budget Management and Cost Allocation.
She is a proud graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting. A life-long resident of eastern North Carolina, Moose has resided in the Raleigh area since 1979. Diane is married to Tim Moose, an NC State Graduate in Political Science and Criminal Justice, and currently serves the state of North Carolina as a Deputy Commissioner in the Department of Public Safety.
Diane and Tim have three daughters, Britt, a Human Resources specialist; Jordan, an NC State graduate working with the NC State Libraries and pursuing her Masters in Library Science; and CJ (Cathryn June) a rising Sophomore at UNC-Wilmington majoring in Accounting and playing Softball for the UNCW Seahawks. Diane and Tim also have two grandsons, Alex (6) and Connor (3).
