    Diane Moose was named Associate AD for Business and FInance on May 12, 2000, after serving for eight months as the department's Interim Director of Business and Finance. Before joining the Department of Athletics, Moose was the associate director of the university's budget office, overseeing a total budget in excess of $720 million. Moose also served as assistant vice president of budget at PennCorp Financial, Inc., from 1993-97.

    From 1991-93, she was the manager for general accounting operations at PennCorp Financial, a job that included managing the daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and mainframe system reconciling. Moose also tested computer software conversion to incorporate multiple software systems into one unified system.

    From 1982-91, Moose was employed as manager of general accounting operations at the McM Corporation, where her responsibilities included managing the daily operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, benefits accounting and suspense accounting.

    Moose is a graduate of NC State with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting. A life-long resident of eastern North Carolina, she has spent the last 20 years in the Raleigh area. Moose is married to Tim Moose. They have three daughters: Britt (18), Jordan (15) and C.J. (10).
