    Charlie Rozanski has been the Director of NC State's Sports Medicine program since he arrived in Raleigh in May of 1992. He currently was elected and serves as the Vice President of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Furthermore, he earned the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in 2004 for his outstanding work with the Wolfpack.

    Prior to his work with the Wolfpack, he served as the Director of Athletic Training at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell for four years. Before his stint at UMass Lowell, Rozanski served an assistant athletic trainer at Virginia Military Institute for two year, before being promoted to the head athletic trainer's post.

    In addition to his work at the collegiate level, Rozanski spent one season with the Chicago Cubs organization.

    Rozanski graduated Cum Laude from Salem State College in 1980, and went on to earn his master's degree in education from Southwestern Louisiana two years later. A native of Walpole, Mass., Rozanski is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association, and is a national officer.

    Rozanski was inducted into the Salem State Hall of Fame in 1994 and has been named the North Carolina College/University Athletic Trainer of the Year by the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.
