    Assistant AD for Video and Broadcast Services

    The NC State Athletic Department's Assistant Athletics Director Video and Broadcast Services, Jim Sherrill, plays a critical role in the use of technology within the department. A 1985 graduate of NC State with a bachelor's of science in radio, television and film, Sherrill's career with the Wolfpack began in 1994, when he began working as a video coordinator. In July of 2003, Sherrill was promoted from the position to Director of Technology, and was named an assistant AD in 2006.

    Sherrill oversees all sports video and computer needs. In addition, Sherrill also serves as the director of "The Dave Doeren Show," "The Mark Gottfried Show" and "Inside Wolfpack Athletics." He also completed work on infrastructure for display boards at Doak field, & Reynolds Coliseum. Sherrill oversees a staff of 18, including six full time, graduate and student assistants.

    Sherrill and his wife Kim have one son, David, also a graduate of NC State and two grandsons, Tyler and Cody Sherrill.
