Adina Stock, now in her sixth year as a member of the NC State Department of Athletics, was named Director of Olympic Sports Game Operations in July 2008. The 2009 season marks her first as the sport administrator for Wolfpack softball. Stock began her career in State's athletic department by serving as the graduate assistant for game operations in the summer of 2003. During the fall of 2004 she was hired full time as the Game Operations and Facilities Scheduling Coordinator. Her responsibilities included assisting the assistant athletics director for game operations in overseeing security, parking, credentials, stadium policies, first aid and event service staff at many Wolfpack athletic events. Stock also served crucial roles in State's hosting of several NCAA post-season tournaments. As the sport administrator for softball, Stock acts as a liaison for the program with the rest of the department. She assists the coaching staff with team management, media relations, finance, compliance, academics and travel. She also directs all game operations for the Olympic programs and continues to work with facilities on scheduling issues. Stock is a 2003 graduate of NC State with a bachelor of science in psychology. She earned her master's degree in parks, recreation and tourism from State in 2005. A native of Bedford, N.Y., Stock was a four-year letterwinner for the Wolfpack gymnastics team from 2000-03. She picked up All-EAGL honors in 2001 on the vault. | |||||||||||||
