Travis Lindhorst is currently in his first year as an intern strength and conditioning coach at NC State University. Prior to arriving at NC State, Lindhorst was a volunteer strength and conditioning coach at Western Nebraska Community College where he worked directly with the baseball program.
From May 2012 to August 2012 Lindhorst was an intern strength and conditioning coach at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) where his main responsibilities were football and men's basketball. During this time he also assisted with volleyball, women's soccer, baseball, and tennis.
Prior to working at FAU he was a graduate intern strength and conditioning coach at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) working with the baseball program. During his undergraduate degree he was a two year intern strength and conditioning coach at UNK working with all 17 athletic programs.
Lindhorst competed in baseball at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Western Nebraska Community College. He was a member of the 2008 NCAA DII Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship team, as well as a member of the 2007 NJCAA Region IX Conference Championship team.
Lindhorst graduated with his master's degree in exercise science from UNK in July 2012 and is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He plans on attaining his USAW certification in June 2013.
