Wendell Hill is currently in his first year as an intern strength and conditioning coach at NC State. Prior to his arrival, Hill was an intern strength and conditioning coach at Michigan, where he worked with the 2012 men's basketball team that participated in the 2012 NCAA championship game and also worked with the men's basketball National Player of the Year, Trey Burke.
Before his time in Ann Arbor, Hill worked at Webber International University as a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach. His assigned teams there were women's volleyball and men's and women's golf. During his time at WIU he also assisted with football, baseball, softball, and track & field.
Hill graduated with his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Central Washington University. He also spent two years as a volunteer assistant strength and conditioning coach for men's basketball and men's rugby.
Hill is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a certified USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.
