NC State Women's Tennis Will Play In Wake Forest Invitational

RALEIGH, N.C. – Four from the NC State women's tennis team will travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., this weekend to compete in the Wake Forest Invitational from Oct. 9-11.

Amanda Rebol, Tayla Stenta, Claudia Wiktorin and Taylor Zaytoun will represent the Wolfpack at the tournament. Each Pack player will begin play in a round of 16 singles match-up on Friday morning.

Doubles duos Rebol and Wiktorin and Stenta and Zaytoun are set to play in doubles competition Friday afternoon.

"It's been a few weeks since most of the girls competing this weekend at Wake have seen tournament action and they are coming off a tough training block. There's definitely been a lot of growth on and off the practice courts, now it's time for us to gauge how effectively that translates into match-play situations. The focus of the event, like most of those this fall, is to gain experience and get as many matches in as possible. In that regard, this event is perfect.
