RALEIGH – The latest NC State women's soccer signing class received high praise recently, ranking 19th among 333 NCAA Division I programs in the 2016 BigSoccer.com recruiting roundup.
The Wolfpack's class is one of seven in the Atlantic Coast Conference to be considered in the top 20 and during the upcoming fall season, NC State will play seven teams with classes ranked among the top 12.
"Any time others acknowledge your program like this, it's positive," head coach Tim Santoro said. "I'm not a labels, rankings, or resume guy when it comes to recruiting, but honestly I think our incoming group may even be stronger than this (ranking). That said, in the end, it's all about us getting these talented players together on the field in August to see what we can accomplish."

In addition to three early enrollees announced in January, the Wolfpack on February 8 officially announced the signings of Grayson Cameron (GK – North Carolina), Tziarra King (MF – New Jersey), Kia Rankin (FWD – Maryland), Kristina Schuster (D – Germany), Michaella van Maanen (MF – Virginia), and Ricarda Walkling (MF – Germany).
NC State's spring training sessions are underway and the Wolfpack will officially open the spring schedule against Wingate on Saturday, March 19. During the spring season, the team will play four total matches between March 19 and April 23.
