The NC State women's golf team was recognized when the NCAA released its Academic Performance Recognition Awards for the 2014-15 school year. The Wolfpack ranked in the top 10 percent nationally among all women's golf programs in the Academic Progress Rate (APR) score.
"I am proud of the dedication and balance our players have chosen to have. I appreciated the dedication our players have shown and their appreciation of their opportunities," head coach Page Marsh said. "They have shown great joy in managing the ups and downs that come with being a student-athlete. Committed hearts are happy hearts and our team has shown great commitment."
The 2014-15 school year marked the fifth consecutive year Marsh's program has been honored among the nation's top 10 percent for APR.
The ACC saw 10 of its 12 women's golf programs recognized by the NCAA, the most for any conference in the nation. Six ACC women's golf programs - NC State, Florida State, Louisville, Virginia, North Carolina and Wake Forest - have been in the APR top 10 percent for five straight years.
