NC State women's tennis lists No. 37 in the latest ITA national poll

SKILLMAN, N.J. – After capturing its fourth conference win of the season, the NC State women's tennis team broke back into the Top-40 of the team rankings at No. 37, as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday afternoon.

NC State has reached four ACC wins for the first time since 2013.
Martina Frantova made a 25-spot improvement, now listed No. 38 among the singles rankings. This comes as a result of her current three-match win streak, which includes two straight-set victories over No. 45 Quinn Gleason of Notre Dame and No. 51 Francesca Fusinato of Virginia Tech.

Frantova is currently 10-6 on the season at the No. 1 singles position and 9-5 overall against nationally-ranked opponents. All-time singles record leader Joelle Kissell collected eight wins over nationally-ranked players during her winningest season with the Pack in 2013.
Frantova and the No. 37-ranked Wolfpack return to action Wednesday in Chapel Hill, N.C. to face the rival No. 2 North Carolina squad.
