#18/18 Wolfpack Visits Rival Tar Heels Sunday

RALEIGH – The No. 18/18 NC State women's basketball team (16-5, 6-2 ACC) takes a three-game winning streak into Chapel Hill Sunday afternoon for a 3 p.m. clash against local rival UNC-CH. The game will be broadcast live from Carmichael Arena and will be featured on the ACC's regional network affiliates and ACC Network Extra (subject to local blackouts).

LAST GAME
The Wolfpack finished the first half of Atlantic Coast Conference play with a 55-42 win over Pittsburgh Thursday evening on Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum.

NC State shot a season-low 16-50 (.320) from the field in the win, but its defense proved stout, holding an opponent at or below 50 points for the fifth time this season. Pittsburgh also shot an identical 16-50 (.320) from the field Thursday evening.

NC State was led offensively by 13 points from both Jennifer Mathurin (4-6 shooting) and Dominique Wilson. They were joined in double figures by Chelsea Nelson, who scored 10 points in addition to collecting seven rebounds.

Classmate Jennifer Mathurin was also fantastic against UNC-Chapel Hill, averaging 13.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per meeting while fellow senior Ashley Williams made five total 3FGs over the course of the two games.
