NC State senior scores career goals 15 and 16 in victory over UNC Asheville
RALEIGH – Led by two goals from senior Julius Duchscherer, the NC State men's soccer team (4-3-1) cruised to a one-sided victory over UNC Asheville Tuesday evening at Dail Soccer Stadium, winning by a final score of 3-0.
NC State dominated the match from start to finish, out-shooting the Bulldogs by a 15-7 margin and earning eight corners to their four. Just two of UNC Asheville's seven shots were on target, and freshman goalkeeper Leon Krapf made short work of each one en route to earning the team's third shutout of the young season.

Duchscherer's first goal was one of the fastest in program history, coming just 15 seconds into the match. The senior took advantage of a well-placed pass from David Loera and beat the onrushing goalkeeper low to give the Pack an early 1-0 advantage.
His second of the evening came via an emphatic volley in the 28th minute. Simon Blotko found freshman Manny Perez streaking up the right wing. Perez received Blotko's pass in stride and whipped in a low cross through the six-yard box right to a sprinting Duchscherer, who volleyed it first time straight into the back of the net.
