  • Produced three ACC Rookies of the Year.
  • Guided the team to Academic All-American team honors in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 (with distinction in '06, '07, '10 for GPA of at least 3.25).
  • NCAA Champion in the women's outdoor 5,000-meters in 1991 at NC State.
  • Two-time All-American and four-time All-ACC cross country runner.

    EDUCATION:

    Received a bachelor's degree in history from NC State in 1992.

    PERSONAL:

    Married to Bob Henes, a former Wolfpack All-American in cross country and track. They have two daughters, Elly and Jordan.
