  • Only coach in NCAA history to take three different teams to a national tournament at each NCAA level.
  • Named NC State head coach on April 5, 2013.
  • Led the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga to 12 Southern Conference regular-season titles and nine SoCon tournament championships in 15 years.
  • Named SoCon Coach of the Year six times.
  • Led UTC to perfect 1000 single-year NCAA Academic Progress Rates (APR) in three of his final four seasons with the Mocs.

Married to the former Linda Hardison.

EDUCATION:

Earned a B.S. in Religion from Johnson Bible College in 1984 and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Physical Education from the University of Tennessee in 1986.
