  • Serves as the hitting coach and also works with the outfielders.
  • Guided the 2014 Wolfpack squad to a team batting average of .275, the best total in school history.
  • Under her direction, State has led the ACC in home runs the past two seasons with 67 in 2014 and 88 in 2013.
  • Renada Davis set a program record with 26 homeruns during the 2013 season thanks to Grimes' assistance.
  • The Pack also led the ACC in slugging percentage with a .491 clip and posted the third-best mark in the league during her first season.

    Education:
    Earned a B.S. degree in psychology from Hawaii in 2010 and a master's degree in counseling and sport psychology from Boston University in 2012

    Playing Experience:
    Grimes was a four-year starter behind the plate at Hawaii from 2007-10. She helped lead the Rainbow Wahine to a pair of Western Athletics Conference titles, two NCAA regional championships and the school's first-ever berth in the College World Series in 2010. As a senior she batted a career-best .282 with five doubles, 11 home runs, 41 RBI and a .497 slugging percentage.
