The NC State rifle team won the SEARC Championships this weekend, while freshman Dani Foster took home first place individual honors
The Wolfpack combined to fire a new school record in air rifle, shooting 2318 against West Virginia on Sunday.
The No. 20 rifle team had a strong showing on Saturday, setting multiple school records while competing against The Citadel, No. 6 Ole Miss, and No. 14 Air Force.
No. 18 NC State turned in strong performances as it finished up the fall season against No. 9 Memphis
The Wolfpack finished the match with an overall team score of 4564.
2009-10: Competed in 11 events for the Wolfpack, leading the team in scoring in five, finishing second in four ... Set career highs of 587 in air-rifle (at West Virginia), 569 in smallbore (at Army), and a 1,151 total (at Air Force) ... His season-highs in air-rifle and aggregate represent the second-best scores fired by any team member in the 2009-10 season.
