    Rifle To Take On No. 2 Kentucky, No. 3 West Virginia No. 18 NC State rifle will return to action this weekend, facing two of the top-3 teams in the nation at West Virginia University in Morgantown, Va.

    RALEIGH, N.C. - No. 18 NC State rifle will return to action this weekend, facing two of the top-3 teams in the nation at West Virginia University in Morgantown, Va. The Wolfpack will take on No. 2 Kentucky on Saturday, Feb. 4, and compete against No. 3 West Virginia on Sunday, Feb. 5.

    NC State finished third in its last outing, topping The Citadel but falling to No. 6 Ole Miss and No. 14 Air Force. The Wolfpack defeated all three opponents in the smallbore competition, however, on its way to firing a new school record of 2292. NC State also shot a new school record in combined score (4596).

    Dani Foster, Madeline Pike and Bryan Cross have all fired school records this year as well. Foster and Cross have both shot 578 in smallbore this season to tie for the record, while Pike's total score of 1155 that she put up last weekend was also a new school record.
