    Three Wolfpack Squads Earn Public Recognition Awards NCAA honors top performers in APR

    INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The NC State men's basketball, men's cross country, and mixed rifle teams have been recognized by the NCAA for earning a multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) in the top 10% of their respective sport.  This is the third time the men's basketball and mixed rifle squads have earned this recognition and the second time for men's cross country.

    These awards are given to teams each year based on their most recent multi-year APRs.  The most recent APRs are based on scores from the 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09 and 2009-10 academic years.  Top-performing teams this year posted APR scores ranging from 977 to a perfect 1,000.
