    Swimming And Diving Sweeps Clemson

    The NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept Clemson at home on Friday night.

    2011-12: Competed in the distance freestyle events ... Swam the second-best times on the team during the season in both the 500 and 1,650 freestyle ... Also posted the fastest time on the team in the 1,000 freestyle.

    2010-11:     Had the second-best time on the team for the year in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyles ... Placed in the top-five 10 times ... Also saw action in the 200 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 400 individual medley ... Named to the ACC Honor Roll.

    PREP/PERSONAL: Earned four letters in swimming at Herndon High School ... Swam a 16:04.89 in the 1500 freestyle ... In short course swims, recorded a 4:35.02 in the 500 freestyle, 15:44.03 in the 1650 freestyle and a 9:33.42 in the 100 freestyle ... Set high school records in the 500 freestyle and 400-freestyle relay ... An All-America selection as a senior ... Named team MVP during his final year ... Served as a captain for three seasons ...
