    he men defeated both teams to move to 7-1 (4-1 ACC) on the year. The women defeated Georgia Tech but fell to Florida State, to compile a 7-3 (2-3 ACC) record.

    Swimming Gets Started at Terp Cup

    Men's relays hit two NCAA B cuts, women post three all-time top-10 marks.

    2011-12: Competed mainly in the backstroke and individual medley events during the season ... Swam a season-best time of 1:51.76 in the 200 backstroke at the ACC Championships.

    2010-11:     Swam the eighth-fastest 400 individual medley in school history with a 3:56.45 ... That was the top 400 individual medley swim on the team for the year ... Had two wins and 21 top-five finishes ... Also competed in the 100 and 200 backstroke, 200 freestyle, and 200 individual medley ... Selected to the All-ACC Academic Team.

    PREP/PERSONAL: Competed at Warwick High School ... Earned four letters in swimming ... Posted career-bests of 1:52.10 in the 200 IM, 3:59.80 in the 400 IM, 51.60 in the 100 backstroke, 1:50.20 in the 200 backstroke and 21.50 in the 50 freestyle ...
