    Swimmers Look to Achieve Olympic Trials Cuts

    20 members of the NC State swim team will travel to the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix this weekend, in an attempt to secure cuts for the upcoming Olympic trials

    2011-12: Competed in the breaststroke and individual medley events during the season ... Swam a season-best time of 2:02.04 in the 200 breaststroke at the ACC Championships.

    2010-11:     Had the third-fastest 100 breaststroke on the team for the year ... Had six top-five finishes ... Also competed in the 200 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 50 and 100 freestyle, and 200 individual medley.

    PREP/PERSONAL: Picked up three letters at North Mecklenburg High School ... Swam a 57.55 in the 100 breaststroke and a 2:05.90 in the 200 breaststroke ... Set a school record in the 100 breaststroke ... Earned All-America honors as a senior ... Named all-conference in 2010 ... Selected to the All-Charlotte Observer team during his final season ...
