    Swimmers Look to Achieve Olympic Trials Cuts

    20 members of the NC State swim team will travel to the Charlotte UltraSwim Grand Prix this weekend, in an attempt to secure cuts for the upcoming Olympic trials

    2011-12: Swam the second-best time in school history in the 200 backstroke with a 1:58.20 ... Her time was good for an NCAA "B" cut ... Had the fastest mark on the team in that event.

    2010-11:     Recorded the second-best 200 backstroke in school history with a 2:00.24 ... Swam the third-fastest 100 backstroke in school history with a 55.75 ... Had the fastest 200 backstroke on the squad for the year, second in the 100 backstroke ... Had two first-place finishes in the 100 backstroke ... Finished in the top-five 16 times ... Named to the ACC Honor Roll.

    PREP/PERSONAL:     Swam at Our Lady of Good Counsel ... Earned four varsity letters in swimming ... Four-time all-conference selection ... An All-Washington Post Team honorable mention all four years ... Set a school record in the 100 backstroke ... Holds club team records in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke ...
