Pack Swimming & Diving Ranked in Final CSCAA Poll

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s swimming & diving team is listed No. 18 in the final College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll, announced by the organization Wednesday.
The Pack garnered its highest ranking of the season in the final poll of the 2013-14 season.
Overall, five ACC schools appear in the latest poll, including North Carolina (No. 14), Virginia Tech (No. 15), NC State (No. 18), Florida State (No. 19) and Virginia (No. 20).
On the women’s side, the Pack is listed No. 22 in the final rankings of the year, as announced earlier in the week.
Four ACC schools appear in the final rankings of the season, including Virginia (No. 7), UNC (No. 10), Notre Dame (No. 20) and NC State (No. 22).
After the first day of competition at the ACC Championships, the Wolfpack women’s squad is in second place with 108 points after setting school records in the 200 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay.
The women’s squad will return to action Thursday with preliminaries to begin at 11 a.m. and finals set to begin at 7 p.m., while the men’s squad will compete in the ACC Championships Feb. 26-March 1 in Greensboro.
In addition, the men’s and women’s divers will open competition Thursday afternoon.
