Men's Swimming & Diving Tabbed No. 19 in Latest CSCAA Rankings

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s swimming & diving team was tabbed 19th in the most recent College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll, released by the organization Wednesday.
The Pack climbed four spots after debuting at No. 23 in the first CSCAA poll of the season. In addition, College Swimming lists the men’s squad as the No. 10 team in the country in the first poll of the season.
Senior Jonathan Boffa holds the third fastest time in the 100 freestyle in the country and ranks in the top-10 in the ACC in the 200 free. Classmate Ian Bishop also ranks in the top-10 nationally and second in the conference with a top time of 54.86 seconds in the 100 breaststroke.
The women’s squad remains 23rd in the CSCAA poll and 13th in the College Swimming poll.
State will make its home debut on Friday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m., against Duke and Miami (women only) in the Willis R. Casey Aquatic Center.
