Wolfpack Track & Field Earns 26 entries at NCAA East Regional preliminaries

A total of 23 athletes, including three who qualified for two events, will participate at next week's NCAA East Regional preliminaries in Jacksonville, Fla. All-Americans Kenyetta Iyevbele, Andie Cozzarelli and Ryan Hill lead the large field of Wolfpack representatives.

Hill, Iyevbele Set School Records at Last Chance Qualifier

All-Americans Ryan Hill in the men's 1,500 meters, Kenyetta Iyevbele in the women's 800 meters break their own school marks Sunday night a the Wolfpack Last Chance Qualifier at Paul Derr Track. The Wolfpack also has strong field performances by junior triple jumper Jazueline Daniels and discus thrower Nathaniel Williams in the final meet of the regular season.

Wolfpack Track & Field to Host Last Chance Qualifier

NC State will host the Wolfpack Last Chance Qualifier on Sunday at Derr Track. Field events begin at 2 p.m., track events begin at 6:15 p.m. Admission is free for all spectators.

Hill Wins 5th Individual ACC Track Title

Junior Ryan Hill wins the 1,500 meters, while sophomore Nathaniel Williams and senior Brittany Hampton both earn All-ACC honors in the men's and women's discus. The NC State men finish seventh, women finish eighth at three-day ACC Outdoor Championship Meet.

Himelright, Taylor Take Second At ACC Track & Field Championships

Junior Brian Himelright was second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and redshirt freshman Tremanisha Taylor is second in the women's shot put at the 2012 ACC Track and Field Championships in Charlottesville, Va.

NCAA REGIONAL QUALIFIER

2011

Competed in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump during the indoor and outdoor seasons.
Posted a new collegiate-best mark in the long jump of 23'08.75".
Placed in the top 10 in all three jumps at the ACC Indoor Championships.
Topped his previous collegiate-best in the triple jump with a 50'00.50" to qualify for the NCAA East prelims.
Placed sixth in the triple jump and 10^th in the long jump at the ACC Outdoor Championships.

2010

First on the team in the long jump and triple jump during the indoor season and second in the high jump.
Posted a collegiate-best mark in the triple jump at 49'08.50".
Placed ninth in the high jump, twelfth in the long jump, and fifth in the triple jump at the ACC Indoor Championships.
Redshirted the outdoor season.

2009

Led the team in the high jump and triple jump and was second in the 400m during the indoor seaon.
Best height in the high jump was a 6'06.75".
Was ninth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the high jump and eighth in the triple jump.
Best mark of indoors in the triple jump was 48'01.75".
Ran a 51.10 in the 400m.
Led the team in the 400m, high jump and triple jump during outdoors.
Ninth in the triple jump at the ACC Outdoor Championships with his best distance, 47'05.25".
Cleared 6'06.75" in the high jump during the outdoor season at the UNC Invite to win the event.

Attended Durham School of the Arts and competed forcoach Tony Ford.
Awarded the Mid-State 2A Conference Athlete of the Year as a senior.
