Seaton has played a large part in the recruitment and maturation of distance runners Ryan Hill and Andrew Colley. Hill concluded his five-year career as a 10-time All-American between track and field and cross country for the Wolfpack in 2013, and became the fastest miler to hail from the state of North Carolina with his 3:54.89 mark in the Wanamaker Mile at the 106th Millrose Games. Colley was a four-time cross country All-ACC selection, claimed the individual champion title at the 2013 ACC Championships, was named the 2012 and 2013 ACC Performer of the Year and a three-time All-American in cross country.
