Hill, Iyevbele Set School Records at Last Chance Qualifier

All-Americans Ryan Hill in the men's 1,500 meters, Kenyetta Iyevbele in the women's 800 meters break their own school marks Sunday night a the Wolfpack Last Chance Qualifier at Paul Derr Track. The Wolfpack also has strong field performances by junior triple jumper Jazueline Daniels and discus thrower Nathaniel Williams in the final meet of the regular season.

Redshirt freshman Tremanisha Taylor just missed a school record in the shot put with her throw of 53-feet, 7-inches on Day 1 of the Duke Invitational in Durham.

NC State Wins 3 Events; 4 Meet Records Fall at Raleigh Relays

Throwers Nathaniel Williams, Brittany Hampton and jumper Kris Kornegay-Gober all win their events on the first day of the Raleigh Relays at NC State's Derr Track. The meet concludes on Saturday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Admission is free for all spectators.

Pack Women Fare Well In Field Events In Outdoor Opener

Junior Karimah Shepherd wins the long jump, redshirt freshman Tremanisha Taylor wins the discus on the first day of competition at the 49er Classic, in State's first outdoor track and field meet of the season.

2011

Competed in the mid-distance events during the indoor season.
Fastest time in the 800m was 2:21.89.
Did not compete during the outdoor season.

2010

Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Preps, etc.

Attended Asheville HS for coaches Brian Schultz and Randy Ashley.
Ran a 2:19 in the 800m and a 5:04 in the mile.
Team was cross country state runner-ups in 2006, third in 2007 and fourth in 2008.
Was the 2009 MAC Conference MVP.
Third at the state meet in the 1,600m in 2009 and third in the 800m at the 2008 state meet.
