Wolfpack Track & Field to Host Last Chance Qualifier

NC State will host the Wolfpack Last Chance Qualifier on Sunday at Derr Track. Field events begin at 2 p.m., track events begin at 6:15 p.m. Admission is free for all spectators.

Hill Part of World's Fastest 5,000 Meters This Year

Junior All-American Ryan Hill finished 11th overall and as the No. 2 collegian in the men's 5,000 meters at Stanford's Payton Jordan Invitational.

Kornegay-Gober 9th at Penn Relays

Junior Kris Kornegay-Gober finishes ninth in the championship division of the men's high jump at the prestigious Penn Relays at Philadelphia's Franklin Field. All-Americans Ryan Hill, Kenyetta Iyevbele and others compete on Sunday at Stanford's Payton Jordan Invitational.

Cozzarelli 2nd in 10,000 meters at ACC Championships

Junior All-American Andie Cozzarelli finished second and freshman Joanna Thompson was fourth in the women's 10,000 meters. Patrick Campbell and Adam Henken finish fifth, sixth in men's 10,000 meters. Wolfpack women are in third place after first day of competition, men are in fifth.

Wolfpack Men, Women Open Competition at ACC Track & Field Championships

Junior All-American Andie Cozzarelli, returning All-ACC performer Adam Henken look for titles in Thursday night's 10,000 meters, while Wolfpack throwers vie for titles in the men's and women's hammer throw.

Placed fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the 3,000m run with a season-best time of 8:06.87.
Ran the lead-off leg of the DMR that won an ACC Championship.
Was All-ACC in the event with the win.
Won the 3,000m at the Valentine Invitational in Boston.
Earned All-ACC honors in the 10,000m at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a runner-up finish behind teammate Ryan Hill in a time of 29:41.63.
Was fourth in the 5,000m at the ACC Championships.
Placed 15^th in the 10,000m at the NCAA East prelims.

At Kentucky

Ran the 10th fastest time in school history in the 3,000m run as a sophomore with a mark of 8:16.27.
Ran a personal best of 4:08.08 for the indoor mile, qualifying for the finals of the SEC Championship.
Posted a best time of 3:54.23 in the 1,500m.
