    Mercer Posts Career-Best Time in Mile

    The NC State men's and women's indoor track teams competed in two events on Friday, with junior Erin Mercer setting a personal best in the mile in Boston and junior Paige Eley hitting a career mark in the 60-meter dash in Fayetteville, Ark. Pack athletes compete in four different meets on Saturday.

    Senior Lawanda Henry won the weight throw and junior Karimah Shepherd won the long jump on the first day of competition at the UNC Invitational, Competition concludes on Saturday at UNC's Eddie Smith Field House.

    Tobais Palmer, C.J. Wilson and Bryan Underwood join the No. 24 NC State men's track team for this weekend's UNC Invitational in Chapel Hill.
