CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Highlighted by four all-conference performances on the final day of the 2014 ACC Outdoor Championships, the NC State track & field team concluded a successful meet at Belk Track at Fetzer Field on Saturday evening.

Over the course of the three-day meet, the Wolfpack combined for nine All-ACC performances and two ACC individual champions. The women’s team finished the weekend with five all-conference performances, as the men’s team picked up four.

Alexis Perry and Graham Crawford each won silver medals on Saturday in the women's 100m hurdles and the men's 1,500m run, while Paisley Simmons, SeQuoia Watkins and Nathaniel Williams took home bronze in the women's 100m dash, the women's discus and the men's discus.

Perry, who won All-ACC honors in the women's long jump on Thursday, added the second All-ACC outdoor award and fourth overall All-ACC honor to her career ledger with a second place result in the 100m hurdles, finishing with a time of 13.24. Perry is the only member of the NC State track and field team, men or women, to garner four all-conference honors this year.

Crawford earned the first silver medal of his NC State career and second All-ACC honor, finishing in second place in the 1,500m run. Crawford was just four-tenths of a second from earning the gold, as his time of 3:50.74 was just behind Grant Pollock of Virginia Tech who registered a time of 3:50.34.

Watkins took home the bronze in the women's discus for the second straight year, heaving a throw of 166'0" (50.60m) to finish in third place, leading a trio of Wolfpack throwers in the discus. Tremanisha Taylor (50.34m), who earned gold in the shot put came in fourth place, while Nicole Chavis (48.51m) registered a fifth place result.

Simmons garnered the second All-ACC honor of her young career, as the freshman from High Point, N.C. came in third in the women's 100m dash with a time of 11.72. Simmons took home bronze in the ACC Indoor Championships in the 60m earlier this year.

Williams registered the second All-ACC outdoor award of his career, finishing third in the men's discus with a throw of 178'09".

In the other events on the day, Elizabeth Shuman finished just short of medaling in the high jump for the second straight year, clearing the bar at 1.81m to finish fourth, while Kenyatta Iyevbele also finished fourth in her event, the women's 800m, with a time of 2:06.36.
