    NC State men's track and field finished competition at two sites on Saturday. At Clemson, the men finished ninth and were led by a pair of top-6 finishes by Reggie Reese. Dexter Adams narrowly missed a NCAA Provisional mark in the long jump. At North Carolina, Jason Jones won the shot put with a 54'04.00" and was sixth in the weight throw with a 52'00.50".

    Reese's 6.87 in the 60 meter dash was good for sixth place and is the second fastest time on the team so far in 2008. He also finished 5th in the 200 meter with a 22.05, the fastest Wolfpack time in the event.

    A'Tolani AKinkuotu was ninth in the 200 meters with a 22.62, his personal-best this season.

    Dester Adams, a standout long jumper, finished 17th in the 200 meter with a time of 23.26. He won the long jump at the Clemson Invite on Saturday with a mark that fell just short of a NCAA Provisional.

    Armand Quenum was the top Pack finisher in the 400 meter with a time of 51.54 to place 18th.

    Brandon Bias was 11th in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.68 in the prelims.

    Travis Weston and Emmanuel Davis finished 17th and 18th, respectively, in the triple jump with marks of 43'09.00 for Weston and 43'05.00 for Davis, the second and third best marks this season.

    At the North Carolina Classic, Jason Jones led NC State with a win in the shot put, the third consecutive meet he finished in the top-3 in the event to start the season. His throw of 52'00.50" in the weight throw was good for sixth.

    Adam Gray was 13th in the shot put at 41'06.50", and finished 7th in the weight throw at 50.03.25.

    Kent Dickens was 6th with a 48'.00.00".
