    Pack Track Competes in 3 Meets This Weekend

    RALEIGH, N.C. - Members of the NC State men's and women's track teams will go in three different directions this weekend, as distance runners, sprinters and jumpers will compete in separate meets in Virginia and Florida.

    Select sprinters and jumpers, including fifth-year senior A'Tolani Akinkuotu, will participate in the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla.

    Akinkuotu will join sophomore Daniel Fretz, sophomore James Robinson, fifth-year senior Lamont Savage and junior Miles Walker in the running events, while junior Kwame Boatwright and redshirt freshman Christian Council will compete in jumping events.

    Sophomores Jazeuline Daniels and Karimah Shepherd and freshman Elizabeth Shuman will compete in for the women in the jumping events.

    Select throwers, including NCAA regional qualifiers Lawanda Henry and Brittany Hampton, will participate in the Liberty Collegiate Invitational in Lynchburg, Va. Others who will attend the meet included men's throwers Grant Pearce and Nathaniel Williams, women's thrower Jessica Sanders and jumper Danielle Adams.

    Select distance runners will participate in Friday's Colonial Relays, hosted by William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. Junior Greg Dame and fifth-year senior Sandy Roberts will represent the men, while the women's participants include senior Kara McKenna, junior Andie Cozzarelli, sophomore Erin Mercer and freshman Lillian Greibesland.

    The Wolfpack will return to action next weekend at the Duke Invitational at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, N.C.
