    7 Indoor Track & Field Athletes Named Academic All-ACC Five men and two women from NC State's indoor track and field teams are named to the Academic All-ACC team, announced by the conference on Friday.

    RALEIGH, N.C. - Seven members of the  NC State men's and women's indoor track and field teams were named to the Academic All-ACC squad for the 2012 season, the conference office announced on Friday.

    Senior steeplechase runner Brian Himelright led the way for the Wolfpack men, along with graduate student distance runners Patrick Campbell and senior Bobby Moldovan.

    Sophomore thrower Jule Rich and freshman mid-distance runner Vibushan Sivakumaran were also on the team.

    For the Wolfpack women, distance runners Joanna Thompson and Laura Hoer were named to the team.

    To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade-point average for the previous semester and have maintained a 3.0 cumulative average during his or her college career.
